-Amazing high-iso operation (low noise)
-TONS of the handles that you'd use are on the photographic camera body (rather than having to dig around in menus) such as metering, visibility (obviously) flash, AF area, AF method, bracketing, etc.
-12 MP allows for enlargement/creative farming without needing extremely large safe-keeping devices.

+ Excellent control structure. I discovered I liked it better than Brother 40D, but not just like the Pentax K20D. Most of your most important features are discovered on the exterior handles or custom-made (to a degree) buttons.

+ Excellent graphic good quality, especially with good cup and firing strategy. This is real of many cameras, though. I do like the D300 jpeg result, though...pretty nice.

+ Wonderful good quality. Everything believes safe, no bending, etc. I have not chance with the photographic camera in freezing. I have stumbled upon no serious problems or problems with the photographic camera.

+ Flash leader is excellent. Many AF solutions are nice, contact adjusting if you need it, excellent high-res screen on the back. The AF is excellent once you discover the intricacies of the various methods.

+ Customizable firing lenders and a personalized list.

+ autoISO is great and trounces Canon's implementation.

+ An excellent 100% viewfinder.

+ camera seems really genuine at matrix metering.

Now, some cons Nikon D300 DX 12.3MP Digital SLR Camera (Body Only) :

- Guide the big silicone home that includes some power contacts. The specifications are so shut that it is hard to shut and shut off. However, when I lastly do get it made.......it is made. I do respect the manufacturers/designers to make it shut off so properly. Particular, picky, picky.

- a little on the big area. It's really not that big of a package, but don't be expecting to carry this element over your brain with one palm for an hour.

- The back management pad doesn't have a separate, increased "enter" switch like the D90 does - you have to press/click the complete pad down - sometimes this success in you unintentionally pushing (left or right) instead of the press. Not an enormous trouble - I discovered to just click->right through selections, as it functions like an "enter" press.

- Music is reasonable, but don't be expecting magic - you need excellent visibility for higher ISO. If you want to take in darker scenarios with excellent higher ISO, get a Digital SLR Camera Nikon D700. The Digital SLR Camera Nikon D300 is excellent, but seriously I can't tell a change between its noise operation and the 40D, especially in styles. I usually try to keep ISO mixed at 800, unless I know I'm getting reasonable light-weight, then I'll hit around 2000 max.

It's an excellent photographic camera, but don't be expecting noise magic.

- There is no choice to press "Fn" and come back quickly to the top-level piece in "My Menu", in contrast to the D90. Modest quibble.

And my last idea, it looks like the cost has been losing on these photographic camera systems a lot, I would buy your shape only (it still comes with all the cords/battery/charger) everything you need, just no contact, and the kit contacts nikon features are not such a lot, and aren't the best contacts, buy your shape, and then get awesome lens, and an awesome speed light, why use such a lovely digital camera like the Nikon D300 DX 12.3MP Digital SLR Camera (Body Only) with just a typical contact and third celebration flash right?
