The Camera's ergonomic design remains similar to its predecessor's, however the specs-sheet contains significant improvements. The effective 10-megapixel resolution lens, a step up of 8MP from its predecessor, enables some splendid shots to be taken. It also has a powerful 20X Zoom (a vast upgrade on the 12X Zoom of the previous model), good battery life, excellent LCD (230,000 pixels) performance (though size is half an inch smaller than many competing models), and ease of use make it a very sound choice for amateurs and aspiring professionals alike.

All in all, the Canon PowerShot SX10IS 10MP digital camera combines fine photo quality with ergonomic design, and although lacking HD movie-capture capability it is still an excellent buy.
